Join us for another WPA and Retreat at Maharishi Vedic Center in Lancaster, MA. This is a gorgeous location on 200 acres. There is a profound silence at Lancaster. The experiences have been deeper than courses at other locations. There is very comfortable seating in all meeting rooms and none of the possible distractions that may happen at locations that are not our own which may have other guests with "diverse" routines. We hope you will take advantage of a retreat at Lancaster while its still available. Several guests found it so enjoyable, they returned immediately the next month for another retreat!
• Beautiful talks of Maharishi: Newly remastered video talks from 1969 to the most recent on everything from discussing the correct start of meditation to profound understandings of the Seven States of Consciousness - with plenty of time devoted to answering all your questions.
• Deep Experience and Deep Rest
The relaxed daily routine of a TM weekend retreat also includes:
• Extended practice of your TM technique, including group meditations, that provide greater familiarity with the inner creative silence of Pure Consciousness, and deep, rejuvenating rest for the body, for profound release of stress. This provides the basis for greater clarity, energy and happiness when returning home.
• Instruction in easy-to-practice Maharishi YogaSM Asanas, as well as a simple neuro-respiratory breathing technique of Pranayama. These gentle mind/body programs are effective in helping to remove surface stress and strain and smoothing the way to deepen your TM practice.
• Time for in-depth questions and answers on the different experiences you are having during meditation and in daily life.
• The unique experience of deep silence and knowledge over an entire weekend results in a dramatic reduction of accumulated stress and tension. Participants in TM Retreats report that even one such weekend boosts energy, clarity, happiness, and health for months afterward. You'll also have the chance to meet like-minded TM practitioners from all over the northeast. Many people form lasting friendships, stay in touch, and plan to return to TM retreats together in the future.

• Schedule, Arrival and Departure: Retreat registration opens at 3PM. We suggest, if possible, you arrive by 5PM so you can settle into your room, do your evening meditation and come to dinner at 7PM. The evening orientation meeting begins at 8:15 PM. You'll need to arrive by then so that you receive your instructions for the course program you'll be doing in your room upon arising.
Departure is after lunch on your last day. The full days of the retreat are full and self-sufficient; we ask that you leave any work, etc. at home.

Note: All rooms have private bath. (two of the six basic rooms and all of the economy rooms have their private bath just across the hall). The Lancaster facility is an early 1900's mansion, once the summer home of the Thayer family. As such there are many different types of rooms. Until recently, it was home to the famous Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center, an Ayurvedic spa frequented in its hayday by celebrities from around the world.
Economy rooms are generally small. They have their own (not shared) bath but its usually down the hall a few steps. Some do not have closets or dressers but rather hooks on the door for hanging clothes. They are in the area of the building that used to be the Ayurveda Spa treatment area.
Basic rooms are in the main house usually on the third floor (no elevator) or the second floor of what used to be, in the days of the Thayers, the service and staff personnel living quarters. Most have full beds, but 2 have singles.

"... a wonderful experience for me. I feel a lot calmer. I gained a lot of knowledge... and a profound realization. I enjoyed your company and the other meditators. I felt incredible positive energy all around. I continue to experience it." - A.K.
"...deep rest and very deep stress release in a way that is just not available in regular life. You feel fully cared for in a supportive environment (with great food!). It’s a true vacation. Afterward I feel more calm and peaceful, and those results translate into my daily life." - J.L
From a recent participant at our last retreat who was asked if it was worth her 5+ hour drive...
"Yes!!!, it was well worth the drive. The retreat was excellent. [The course leaders] were amazing, welcoming, warm, and so good with everyone, I felt so nurtured, and the food was great.... Since I have been back my business has increased and I sold one of my listings yesterday. My only regret is not going sooner." - L.D.
